Meliner of Salt Lake City, Utah, has made application for a United States paten for the Pinto Horse Fraction lode mining claim, consisting of 1358.2 linear feet of the lode, and surface ground as shown by the plat, situated in the Pinto Iron Mining District, Iron County, Utah, being Survey No. 4897, and described in the plat and field notes of survey on file in this office with magnetic variation at 15 deg. 33 min. to 17 deg. 33 min. east, as follows, to-wit:
Commencing at corner No. 1 and running thence north 74 deg. 23min. east 713.5 feet to corner No. 2, thence north 6 deg. 39 min. west 1276.3 feet to corner No. 3, thence south 74 deg. 23 min. east 713.5 feet to corner No. 2, thence north 6 deg. 39 min. west 1276.3 feet to corner No. 3, thence south 74 deg. 23 min west 88.8 feet to corner No. 4, thence south 17 deg. 11 min. west 1500 feet to corner No. 1, the place of beginning, containing a total and set area of 11.773 acres, all of which is applied for, there being no conflicts.
The presumed general course or direction of the vein or lode is as shown upon the official plat.
Said claim is situated in the north0west ¼ southwest ¼ and southeast ¼ of Section 3, township 37 south, range 14 west.
The corner to sections 2, 3, 10 and 11, township 37 south, range 14 west, bears south 54 deg. 28 min. west 2450 feet from corner No. 1 of said claim.
Said claim is of record in the office of the Recorder of Iron county, at Parowan, Utah, in Book “D” of locations at page 216. The adjoining claims are the Pinto No. 17 and Pinto No. 18, Survey 4369.

Notice is hereby given that J. H. White whose Post Office address is Salt Lake City, Utah has made application for a United States Patent for the Blue Bird Lode mining claim situated in Pinto Iron Mining District Iron County, Utah, consisting of 1500 linear feet of the Lode and surface ground 600 feet wide, being Survey No. 4096 and described in the field notes and plat of the official survey on file in this office, with magnetic variation at 11 deg. 30 min. to 15 deg. 36 min. east, as follows:
Beginning at corner NO. 1, a corner of the claim from which the quarter Section Corner on North boundary line of Section 30 Tp. 36 S. R. 13. W bears N. 41 deg. 29 min. W, 782, 18feet and running thence N. 71 deg. 51 min. E. 600 feet to corner NO. 2, thence S. 30 deg. 55 min. E. 1500 feet to Corner NO. 1, the place of beginning, Containing a total and net area of 20, 150 acres, all of which is hereby claimed and applied for.—there being no Conflicts. The presumed general course and length of the vein or lode is as shown by the plat of Survey.
Said Blue Bird Lode claim forms a portion of Section 30. Tp. 36 S. R. 13 W, Salt Lake Meridian, Utah, Said Blue Bird Lode location mining claim being of record in the office of the County Recorder at Parowan in Iron County, Utah, in Book “D” of Mining Notices page 287, records of said County. The nearest known locations being the Yellow Jacket Mine Survey No. 4977 and Last Chance, Survey No. 4978, Lode Mining claims.
I direct that this notice be published in the Iron County Record at Cedar City, Utah. The newspaper published nearest the said mining claim for the period of 9 weeks.

White of Salt Lake City Utah has made application for a United States Patent for the Early Lode Mining Claim, Lookout Mine, The Dickman Mine and Iron Wedge Lode mining claims consolidated in the Pinto Iron Mining District Iron County, Utah, consisting of 1500, 1497.6 1134.9 and 364.8 linear feet respectively of said lodes and surface ground as shown by plat of survey, being survey NO. 5003 an described in the field notes and plat of the official survey on file in this office, with magnetic variation of 12 deg. 22 min. to 18 deg. 16 min. east, as follows:

E. 562 feet to corner No. 2 of said mine, thence S. 39 deg. 46 min. W. 1497.6 feet to corner No. 3 of said mine, thence N. 25 deg. W. 446.5 feet to corner No. 2 of Iron Wedge claim thence S. 73 deg., 50min. W., 250.4 feet to corner No. 3 of said claim, thence N. 25 deg. W. 0.4 feet to corner No. 4 of said claim thence S. 39 deg 46 min W. 205.4 feet to corner No. 3 of The Early Lode mining claim, thence N. 50 deg. 14 min. W 603 feet to corner No. 4 of said claim, thence N. 39 deg. 46 min. E. 1500 feet to corner No. 1 of said claims the place of beginning, containing a total area of 57,732 acres from which the aggregate area of 4, 958 acres in conflict with Quest of the West No. 2 survey No. 4770 Wellington survey No. 4701 and Wellington No. 1 survey No. 4906, Lode mining claims is expressively excepted, and excluded, leaving a net area of 52,779 acres hereby claimed and applied for. The presumed general course and length of each vein or lode line is as shown by the plat of the survey.
From corner No. 1 of Lookout Mine the quarter section corner on north boundary line of section 30 Tp. 36 S. R. 13 W. bears N. 9 deg. 35 min. W. 2363.7 feet, from corner No. 1 of Iron Wedge said quarter section corner bears N.9 deg. 12 min. 30 Tp. 36 S. R. 13 W bears N. 9 deg. 35 min W. 2363.7 feet, from corner No. 1 of Iron Wedge said quarter section corner bears N. 9 deg 12 min. 30 deg. E. 3527.3 feet, and from corner NO. 1 of The Dickman Mine an quarter section corner bears N. 16 deg. 25 min. E. 1862.6 feet distant.
Said consolidated Lodes claim forming a portion of Section 30 Tp. 36 S. R. 13 W., S. 1 Meridian, Utah said lodes locations mining claims being of record is the office of the County Recorder at Parowan in Iron County, Utah, in Book “D” of mining location notices pages 565, 567, and 568, and Book “E” of mining location notices page 40 records of said County. The nearest known location being the Black Magnetic Lot No. 54 Queen of the West No. 2 survey No 4770 Utah Survey No. 4208 Wellington survey No. 4701 and Wellington No. 1 survey No. 4906 Lode Mining Claims.
I direct that the notice is published in The Iron County Record at Cedar City, Iron County, Utah, the newspaper published nearest claim, for a period of nine consecutive weeks.
