Heavy Damages Asked.
John A.
Brown, administrator of the estate of Akin Brown, will file an action in
the Federal court against the Union Pacific Coal company
for $30,200. The complaint alleges that while Brown was
passing along a street in Spring Valley, Wyo., he fell into a hole made
and left open by the defendant company. From the injuries
which he received at that time he died August 1,
1904. The accident occurred December 20. 1900.
Brown had filed an action for damages in the courts of Wyoming prior to his
death, which has not come to trial, hence the bringing of
the suit !n the Federal court.
