William B. Via

     Lynchburg, VA - May 4 - William H. Via, one of the best-known and most highly esteemed residents f Appomattox County, died at his home near Bent Creek Friday after an illness of several weeks of typhoid pneumonia. Four other members of the family of the deceased were ill of the same disease at the time of the death.
     Mr. Via was a man of strict integrity, a faithful friend and loyal neighbor, and no man was held in higher esteem in Appomattox county than he.
