Joseph Reynolds had sons William; Joseph, m. Susan Wright, 1772; and Benjamin. Five Reynolds boys were legatees of the estate of George Major, d. 1798.

Richard Rhodes who married Lucy Wright and George who married Nancy Wright were heads of Family. Capt. John Scott who married Jane Todd, born 1699 and died 1731, had many descendants.

General Alexander Spottawood, died 1740, was father of Col. John who married Mary Dandridge, and father of Gen. Alexander who married Elizabeth Washington; a John who married Sallie Rowzie. "Transcribed by Dale Donlon from materials provided from the research of Lynn Stephens Headley"          

John Waugh, 1692, was a member of the General Assembly.

James Barbour (Barboursville near Somerset) came from Scotland and married a Taliaferro of Gloucester, one of the old and honorable families of the court. He was a member of the House of Burgesses in 1764. James Barbour, 4th, was Secretary of War under President Adams and Minister to England. Philip Pendelton Barbour was President of the Constitutional Convention of 1829. Others have been equally prominent.

Edwin Conway, born 1610, married in England Martha Eltonhead. The Conways married into the Fleet, Thacker, Catlett and Taliaferro families. Eleanor Rose Conway married James Madison, whose son James became President.

Edward Clark married in 1681 to Ann Allison, and in 1692 to Ruth Downing. Their descendants were many and scattered far and wide.

Benjamin Cave, member of the House of Bursesses, magistrate, coroner, sheriff, and justice of peace, recieved a grant of 1000 acres in 1728. He married Hannah Bledsoe, referred to later. he was born 1680 and died 1792.
