DEATH OF GEORGE PARKER
News was received here this morning of the death new Snow Creek of George Parker last night, at the age of 84 years. Death is said to have been hastened as result of a fall Mr. Parker had about a month ago. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. V.W. Jefferson of this city; Mrs. S.W. Thompson and Miss Ella Parker, of Snow Creek.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon from the residence, the services to be conducted by Rev. W.E. Clark.

Mrs. Eugenia Perdue

Rocky Mount, Va., February 3. – Mrs. Eugenia Perdue, wife of Randolph Perdue, a prominent tobacconist of Rocky Mount, died yesterday of Bright’s disease, aged thirty-eight years. She had been at Hot Springs, Ark., since November, but was brought home last week desperately ill. The burial took place this afternoon at Rocky Mount. Mrs. Perdue leaves a husband and little son, her mother, Mrs. J. H. Bennett, of Glade Hill; two sisters and four brothers.

O.H. Price

Rocky Mount, Va., February 22. – O. H. Price, county clerk, died here today, aged sixty-seven. He is survived by three children by his first marriage – Dr. C. C. Price, Miss Lucy Price and Mrs. J. R. Meador; also by his second wife and one small daughter.

G.B. Robertson

ROCKY MOUNT, VA., February 17. – Mr. G. B. Robertson, a prominent hotel man, died this evening, aged about sixty years. He is survived by a wife and three children.

FRANCES SUTHERLAND
Died, the 18th of April in the county of Franklin, Va., Mrs. Frances SUTHERLAND, in her 84th year. She was born in Prince Edward Co. and upon her marriage moved to the residence of her husband. Mr. Philemon SUTHERLAND, son of one of the earliest settlers of Franklin. She was early left a widow with the care of a large family of children. (Signed) S.S.B.
