Mrs. Sallie Brittle 

LYNCHBURG, VA., Sept. 30. – Mrs. Sallie Brittle died Wednesday at her home at Shipman, Nelson County, where her brother, John Stickland, died on September 7.

Asa Stratton

Died, at Variety Mills, Nelson co., Va., on the 27th of April. Asa Stratton in the 55th year of his age. The deceased was a native of Chester, Vermont, and removed to Virginia in 1818. For nineteen years he had been a Ruling Elder in the Presbyterian church at Lovingston. leaves a wife and four small children.

Miss Leonora Warwick
Died of Measles in Nelson Co.. Miss Leonora Warwick, aged about 24 years, leaving a mother, and three brothers. (N.S. v. I. no. 37, 16 September 1847. p. 148.)
