THREE SLAIN, ARE LEFT AT ROADSIDE Kelso, Wash., May 21-The initial "D." found on a handkerchief of medium size-probably a child's handkerchief-is the only clew so far discovered that may lead to the identity of a woman about 35, a girl of 13 and a boy of 11, found murdered in a tent beside the Pacific Highway here. The bodies were in natural positions and the killing had evidently been done while the trio slept. Near the tent were automobile tracks. Investigations by Sheriff Clark Studebaker, of Cowlitz county, lead to the belief that the three murdered folk came from Snoqualmie or Seattle traveling in a light touring car, and that the husband slew the members of his party with a revolver and then drove away. The three bodies in the tent were found at a favorite camping ground for automobile tourists. When discovered the bodies had been cold for some time. It is believed the murder was Sunday night.
