Genealogy Trails is a group of researchers who have joined together to provide free information online for other researchers, our goal is to put as much new information online as possible. It is a great group to belong to and I love that I get to spend my time doing something that I love as well as helping others.

I will add new information as much as I can but I would love to have you send me your family source data. I will post it as quickly as I can and hopefully we will find a new "parent" soon so that this site can become a wonderful resource for all the Cowlitz County researchers out there. Cowlitz County was created April 21, 1854 and its name is derived from a Cowlitz word meaning "seeker".
