Stevenson, Wash., March 14 – Wm. Garwood, a pioneer of Skamania county, died suddenly of heart disease yesterday. He left a wife and nine children.

Claire Klum
LIVE WIRE KILLS GIRL
Stevenson, Wash., May 23 - Claire Klum, 16, was killed instantly while boating with a friend. They were paddling about in a flooded section west of town when Klum came in contact with a high tension wire that is ordinarily a safe distance above ground.

Eli St. Martin
Stevenson, Wash.- Eli St. Martin, a half breed Indian, son of the late Isidore St. Martin, late owner of the St. Martin's Springs, and one of the most wealthy Indians in the country, was run over and killed by a train. He had been drinking. His father was murdered here last year.
