St. Anne's Cemetery is located west of Sumas, off Halverstick Road.
St. Anne's started as a pauper's cemetery. In 1909, it was conveyed to the Catholic Bishop of Nisqually and recieved its name from the St. Anne's Parish in Sumas. It continued under Catholic sponsorship until it was offcially closed by the church. Existing records for this cemetery are located at the St. Joseph's Church office, 205 12th St. Lynden WA 98264, phone 360-354-2334. However, these records do not differentiate between Sumas City Cemetery and Sumas Catholic (St. Anne's) Cemetery.
