Carl F. Beck
Carl Frederick Beck was born in Germany, August 22, 1877. He came to the United States with his parents when he was about three years of age. They settled near Centerville, South Dakota. They lived there several years and then moved to Douglas county, S.D., where he was united in marriage to Miss Millie Brown on March 18, 1903. Five children were born to this union, two of whom died some nine years ago. The deceased leaves to mourn his death a wife and three children, Edna Mae, Charles Owen and Alfred Warren, also a father, mother, a sister in Douglas county, S.D., a brother in Oakland, Cal. and a brother at Elgin, N.D. The funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon and was very largely attended. Out of respect to his memory, the street car service was suspended during the time of the funeral.

Alvin Brown
An aged man named Brown, who, lived on Brown avenue, west side, died this morning. The funeral will be held Sunday from the undertaking parlors of Shaw & Son.

George P. Eyler
FORMER ELKO RESIDENT DIES IN YAKIMA, WASH.
Elko, June 17 - A telegram was received in Elko yesterday from Liston Lester announcing that George P. Eyler had died at Yakima, Wash., early Sunday morning. For many years Mr. Eyler was a well-known and highly respected resident of Ruby Valley, in Eko county, where he had charge of the Yowell grocery store until the tiem of his removal to Washington. About three years ago he was unfortunate in running a rusty nail into his foot while working around the store, this injury developed into blood poisoning, and ultimately resulting in his death.

H.B. Miller
Accused Banker Shoots Himself
Yakima, Wash., June 10 - H.B. Miller, former Toppenish, Wash., banker, charged with misappropriation of funds, shot and killed himself here today. A previous attempt in Spokane some time ago was uncessful. He was released from custody of a deputy sheriff yesterday on $10,000 bond provided by twenty-four sureties.

YAKIMA FLIER DIES IN FALL
Yakima, Wash., April 8- Russell (Buzz) Schlosstein, Yakima aviator, who had hundreds of hours in the air to his credit today, today crashed to his death near the Yakima airport. Schlosstein was making a trial flight in a light sport plane which apparently went into a spin and hurtled to the ground near the city limits.
