Hon. William Pinkney
Died at Washington city, on Monday night, the 25th ult., the Hon. William Pinkney, one of the Senators in Congress from the State of Maryland. In consequence of this death, both houses of Congress, and the Supreme Court adjourned early on Tuesday; and resolved to wear crape as a testimony of respect. The members of Congress for 30 days and the Judges and members of the Bar, of the Supreme Court, for the residue of the term. |
