Finding Ancestors ...
Wherever Their Trails Go!

Welcome to Wisconsin Trails

Greetings
Our goal is helping you find your ancestors by placing data online for the Free use by providing our "experience" gained from years of researching our ancestors and website hosting.
Browse our data to gather what you need in your research, remembering this data represents hours of painstaking research by the State Coordinator, County Hosts, Volunteers, and Contributors.

Show your respect for these efforts by not using it on other websites or publications without giving credit to site, host and/or Contributor and by having written permission.  DON'T claim it as your own.
If you wish to submit data of any type to this site, it will be graciously accepted and added.
Remember: Submitted data will always be YOURS.
CONTROL of any submitted data is yours.
We welcome your feedback and comments, and of course, your data contributions.
your State Coordinator, Sara Hemp

Adopt A County!
It takes only time and dedication to put genealogical data online - free to all researchers.  We're looking for folks to put data online.
I need County Hosts to help me make Wisconsin a Great place to visit and research.
If interested - please View our Volunteer Information Page
and contact Kim.
Hope to work with you soon.

Wisconsin State Flag

State Flag: Starting at the top of a shield on a dark blue field is the state motto "Forward". Below it is a badger the state animal. A sailor and miner show that the people work on water and land. The shield in the center shows Wisconsin's support for the United States. In four sections surrounding the shield are representations of the states main industries: Agriculture, mining, manufacturing and navigation. The cornucopia and pile of lead represent farm products and minerals. The flag law was amended in 1979 to include the name of the state and the date of statehood.
