Ten Were Confirmed at Lutheran Church Sunday

* A class of ten boys and girls was confirmed and received Communion at Christ Lutheran church, Sunday morning at 10:15. The examination of the confirmation was held at special services Thursday evening. The Rev. F. H. Sprengler was the officiating clergyman.

Included in the group were Gerald Kalepp, Dennis Kieser, Kenneth Pacholke, Earl Wilhelmi, Sandra Fults, Birdell and Arlene Jensen, Shirley Kalepp, Joyce Lange and Darlene Waldhart.

Class to Receive Communion at St. Bernard’s Sunday

* Summer school for the children of St. Bernard’s Catholic congregation will close Saturday morning. A class of 12 children will receive first and solemn Communion Sunday morning at the 8:00 o’clock mass, which will be followed by Benediction and enrolling of the communicants in the scapular.

The class includes Ted Hoffman, Grant Keller, Neal Klieforth, Claude Paszek, Dennis Pecher, Kenneth Peterson, Leonard Riehle, Mary Bumann, Celine Geiger, Patricia Schindler, Gale Schraunagel, and Loretta Wiese.
