* Unity – Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church here for Anton H. Korntved, 83, of Unity, who died at his home at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

The Rev. Robert Sutherland, pastor, will officiate and burial will be made in the town of Brighton cemetery. Visitations may be made at Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby beginning today.

Mr. Korntved was born Oct. 6, 1887, in the town of Brighton. He was educated at Romeo and lived there until he married. He was married July 7, 1910, in Spencer, to Frieda Voth, who survives. They farmed in the town of Brighton until 1932 when they moved to Unity. He had been a member of the school and town board, and for 16 years was a patrolman on Highway 13. He retired in 1955.

The couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 1970.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Donald, Unity; three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Ringquist, Spencer; Mrs. Andrew (Loretta) Peters, Mishicot; and Mrs. Joseph (Merle) Breuer, Chicago; 16 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Chris Korntved, Grand Marias, Minn.; John, Spencer; and George, Rock, Mich.

* Unity – A committal service will be conducted at Trinity Lutheran Church here at 1 p.m. Thursday for Christian J. Korntved, 88, who died early Monday in North Shore Hospital at Grand Marais, Minn.

Mr. Korntved, a former Unity resident, had lived at Grand Marais since 1930, and services will be held at the First Congregational Church there at 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Friends may call at Trinity Lutheran Church here from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Brighton cemetery. The Rev. Robert H. Sullivan will officiate at the rites here.

Mrs. Korntved, the former Ida Voth, died here in 1921. Surviving are four daughters, five grandchildren and two brothers.

* Unity – Mrs. Anton (Frieda) Korntved, 89, died Thursday at the Colonial House of Colby. She was formerly of Unity.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Unity. The Rev. Elton Moore will officiate and burial will be in the Town of Brighton.

Visitation will begin after 2 p.m. Sunday at the Rux / Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby.

The former Frieda Voth was born March 24, 1893 in Spencer, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Voth. She and Anton Korntved were married July 7, 1910 in Spencer. They observed their 60th anniversary on July 10, 1970. They farmed in the Town of Brighton until 1932 and then moved to Unity. She lived in Unity until entering the nursing home.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Unity.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Ringquist of Spencer, Mrs. Andrew (Loretta) Peters of Mishicot and Mrs. Joseph (Merle) Breuer of Unity; 16 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

* Unity News – News was received here Monday of the death of Mrs. Chris. Korntved at St. Paul following an operation. At this time but little information has been learned but her brothers Walter Voth and Anton Korntved left at once for St. Paul to bring the remains home.
