Engeldinger - Evans

Miss Beverly Evans, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Evans of Madison, became the bride of Kenneth Engeldinger, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Engeldinger of Colby, Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at the First Methodist church in Madison, Rev. Merrill Abbey reading the marriage ceremony. Candelabra and spring flowers formed the setting.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a white gabardine suit with gold accessories and white hat. Her flowers consisted of purple orchids. Miss Doris Day was the maid of honor and wore a blue suit with navy blue accessories. Her flowers were white orchids. Emil Fleischauer, Jr., of Madison was best man and Robert Evans and James Gradin were ushers.

Mrs. Evans wore a navy blue suit with pink accessories and a pink rose corsage. The bridegroom’s mother wore a dark blue dress and a corsage of red roses.

Following a honeymoon at a winter lodge in Northern Wisconsin, the couple will reside at 217 M. Orchard Street,
Madison, after Feb. 19th.

Mrs. Engeldinger received her nursing degree from the University of Wisconsin and is now employed at the Wisconsin General Hospital. The bridegroom is a graduate of the Colby High School and is now a senior in mining engineering at the Wisconsin University, Madison.

Mr. and Mrs. William Ensign Atwell Jr., 1010 Clark St., announce the marriage of their daughter, Charlotte Henley, to James Richard Erickson, the son of Mrs. Leon Vandervort of Tomah. The wedding took place last Saturday morning at St. Francis' Chapel, Madison.

L. M. Sturdevant of Neillsville, ex-attorney general, now confidential advisor to Gov. Davidson, was married to Miss Mary Williams, at Madison, Monday evening. They will go on a wedding trip to the west and take in the Alaska Yukon exposition at Seattle.

YVONNE WILSON MARRIED RECENTLY
Divine Savior Methodist Church was the scene at 2 p.m. Dec. 2 of the marriage of Miss Yvonne M. Wilson, Madison, and Robert C. Vandervort. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard E. Copus, Richland Center, and Mr. and Mrs. Miles Vandervort, Fort Atkinson, are parents of the bridegroom.

Mrs. Ronald Marcy, Rockford, Ill., served as matron of honor and Ronald Vandervort, Madison, was best man. Guests were seated by Robert Krentz, Madison, and Robert Schaefer, Fort Atkinson. A reception followed in the Ronald Vandervort home.

Mr. and Mrs. Vandervort both attended Madison Area Technical College. He is employed as a sales trainee at Crescent Electric. They will make their home at 714 N. Oak St.


Vandervort - Johnson

Miss Susan Elizabeth Johnson and William Gale Vandervort were married Saturday in Covenant Presbyterian Church. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ward L. Johnson, 4030 Council Crest. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gale Vandervort, Evansville. The newly weds will live at 5160 Anton Drive. He is a salesman for Don Miller Pontiac. She is a flight attendant for Delta Air Lines.

Welch - Cusick

Williams - Hacquebart

Miss Jeanette Hacquebart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter G. Hacquebart, Chicago, and sister of Mrs. H. C. Graubner, Evansville, became the bride of John Bernard Williams Sunday, Oct. 15, at 5 p.m. in a candlelight ceremony in the Evansville Methodist church.

The Rev. H. C. Graubner, pastor of the church and brother-in-law of the bride, performed the ceremony.

The matron of honor was Mrs. Helena M. Buck and the bridesmaid was Dorothy A. Williams.

The bridegroom was attended by Clifford A. Ranch and the Rev. Robert A. Caine.

Upon their return from a trip to northern Wisconsin, Mr. and Mrs. Williams will leave for Williamsburg, Va., where they will reside.
