Funeral services for Theodore Osborne were held at 10 a.m. today at the Candlish  Chapel.
Burial took place in St. Charles Cemetery, Taycheedah.
Pallbearers were Robert M. Hanson, George W. Younkin, L. B. Bauer, Ernest A. Korell, Frank J. Rossman and Harvey S. Peters.

Mrs. Mela F. Owen was 86; Formerly Express Agent
Mrs. Mela Florentine Owen, 86, of Juneau, lifelong resident of Dodge County, died Monday morning at the Lutheran Hospital in Beaver Dam.
She was born March 9, 1879, in Juneau,  the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Herman Zillisch. She was educated in St. John's Lutheran Parochial School and the Juneau Public School and  assisted  in her father's general store. She was agent for the American Express Co. for more than 10 years. She married Leon Ward Owen on Feb. 22, 1910.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Alta L. Meek, Milwaukee, Mrs. Eleanor E. Neis, Beaver Dam, and Mrs. Marion F. Radloff, Clyman; one son, Leon Ward Owen Jr. of Cedarburg; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Martin H. Zillisch, Neillsville; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Robert who was killed in action Jan. 4, 1944, while in service; one brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at the Berndt Funeral Home, Juneau, alter 6 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Juneau Methodist Church with Rev. Lorene Iwakari officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Oak Grove.
