The M. Blotz Saloon, on the east side; has been purchased by Mr. W. T. Campbell. Mr. Campbell seems to be a genial sort of a chap, and no doubt will succeed in his profession.

FIRE AT ALBANY.
Brodhead, Wis., Sept. 23.—An Albany correspondent reports that on Sunday night a fire in that place destroyed the Murray block in the business center of the town. The building was occupied in part by the drug store of Jay W. Hicks, and in part by B. J. McAtee's restaurant and confectionery. The loss was $12,300 and the insurance $8,000, in detail as follows: Loss on building, $6,000; insurance, $4,500. J. W. Hicks' loss, $4,500; insurance, $3,000. B. J.
