BREWER
Mr. and Mrs. Edward L. Brewer, 1246 N. E. 148th St. (Seattle, WA), will be honored on their 55th wedding anniversary at an open house from 2 to 5 o'clock Sunday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Rita Albee. 7553 34th Av. N. E.
They were married in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Tacoma. They lived in Pierce and Snohomish Counties before moving to Seattle in 1944. Brewer, 83, a native of Merrill [Wis], moved to Pierce County in 1907. He retired as a shingle sawyer about 12 years ago. He was employed at the Sand Point Naval Air Station in World War II. Mrs. Brewer, 79, the former Anna Sloan, was born in St. Edwards, Quebec, and moved to Tacoma in 1912. The couple has another daughter, Mrs. Ortrude Potts, and a son, Leo Brewer, both of Seattle, and seven grandchildren. [Seattle Daily Times, 13 Apr 1967 - Sub. by K.T.]
