Miss Corrine Braeger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Braeger of Milwaukee, and Rev. Paul T. Dietz, son of Mrs. Paul Dietz of Milwaukee, exchanged marriage vows Wednesday, Dec. 27, at the Zion Ev. Lutheran church in Milwaukee, Rev. H. Tesch and Rev. C. F. Dietz, an uncle, officiating at the marriage ceremony, Myra Bruck of Milwaukee was maid of honor and Lorene Utech of Wauwatosa and Lenore Dietz of Milwaukee. The groom was attended by Dr. P. C. Dietz, J. Wangerin and V. Maschoff. Ushers were E. Jones and S. Jarvis.

The bride was attired in a white satin gown with net yoke and seed pearl trim. She carried a prayer book and a bouquet consisting of white orchids and stephanotis on streamers. Her attendants wore gowns of coronation green taffeta faille and their bouquets consisted of white poinsettias, with eggshell ribbon.

A reception was held at the Stratford Hotel. Relatives attending the wedding were from St. Louis, Mo., Chicago,
Ill., Lombard, Ill., Kansas City, Mo., LaCrosse, Wauwatosa, West Allis and Milwaukee.

The couple will be at home after Sunday, Dec. 31, at the parsonage at Green Grove.

Eugene Hill, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Hill, Carroll St., was married Sunday evening to Miss Katherine M. Risch of Milwaukee at the bride's residence. The groom is employed as a machinist in a south side machine shop. He was formerly a student in the local high school and is well known among the young people of the city. The bride's mother lives near Appleton, Wis., but Miss Risch has been a resident of Milwaukee for the past two years. The couple will reside at 512 Frederick St., Milwaukee.

The marriage of Miss Evelyn A. Peters, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Peters, route 6, Appleton, to Allen Kiehnau, son of William Kiehnau, Milwaukee, will take place at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon at St. Matthew church. The Rev. Philip A. C. Froehlke, pastor, will perform the ceremony.

At a ceremony at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon at St. Matthew church, Miss Evelyn A. Peters, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Peters, route 6, Appleton, and Allen Kiehnau, son of William Kiehnau, Milwaukee, will be united in marriage by Rev. P. A. C. Froehlke, pastor. Miss Verna Peters, sister of the bride and Miss Ruth Hackbarth, Milwaukee, niece of the bridegroom, will be the bride's attendants, and Franklin Kiehnau, Milwaukee, nephew of the bridegroom, and Sylvester Peters, Appleton, brother of the bride, will attend Mr. Kiehnau. A wedding supper will be served at the Peters home to the immediate families.

The couple will reside at 5531 N. Fortieth St. Milwaukee. Out of town guests at the wedding will be William Kiehnau, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Kiehnau and family, Mr. and Mrs. J. Miss Nancy Jean Monato, 1311 Burleigh st., Milwaukee, became the bride of Arthur F. Lalk in a 2:30 p.m. ceremony of June 5, at Immanuel Reformed church, Milwaukee. Their parents are Fidalfio Monato, 8754 W. Rogers st., Milwaukee, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lalk, Menomonee Falls route 1, box 152.

The Rev. Frank J. Erdey performed the service and Ed Wise was the soloist. Mrs. Pat Zarling served as the matron of honor and Chuck Lalk was the best man. John Niegorski and Howard Hommel were the ushers.

A reception was held at the American Legion hall, 734 E. Wright st., Milwaukee. The couple will make their home at 1311 W. Burleigh st. The groom is a mason’s helper.

Miss Carrie Arndt was married to Geo. L. Lord, business manager of Peck's Sun, at the residence of the bride's sister, Mrs. Chas. L. Sholes, No. 136 Seventh street, at 10:30 this morning. Among the presents were, a parlor set and water color painting richly framed, the gift of Mr. Geo W. Peck and wife, a quantity of solid silver ware of handsome design and elegant finish, and many fancy articles and cut glass sets. After returning from their wedding tour in the east, Mr. and Mrs. Lord will occupy a suite of rooms at the Plankinton house until their new residence on Twentieth street is completed.

Reichert - Roder

Veronica Roder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alois Roder, and Lawrence Reichert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Reichert of Milwaukee, were married Saturday morning, June 22, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic church at Milwaukee, Rev. Denninger officiating. The couple was attended by Miss Dolores Roder, the bride’s sister, and Harold Reichert, the groom’s brother.

The bride was attired in peach chiffon crepe with a shoulder bouquet of rosebuds and carried a prayer book. The bridesmaid wore a gown of light blue chiffon crepe and a shoulder bouquet of mixed flowers.

Following the ceremony, a breakfast was served the bridal party and immediate family of the groom at the home of his parents. Late that afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Reichert arrived in Colby when a dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents, covers being laid for forty. The residence was decorated with garden flowers and blue, pink and white streamers.

The newlyweds will reside at 2239 N. 24th St., Milwaukee, where the groom is employed as salesman.


Roohr - Troppman

Russell Roohr and Miss Adeline Troppman of Milwaukee were united in marriage July 29th at 3 P.M. at the Summerfield Methodist church at Milwaukee by Rev. Norman S. Ream. Vernon and Doris Frey attended the couple.

The bride was attired in a beige dress and her corsage consisted of yellow tea roses with a gardenia center. Her bridesmaid wore a teal dress with a pink corsage to match the bride’s. They will live in Milwaukee where the groom is employed as a salesman for Packard Auto Co.


Rosenheimer - Mohr

Mrs. S. Mohr, 172 Thirteenth street, announces the marriage of her daughter Helen to Alex Rosenheimer. The ceremony took place Wednesday night, [Sept. 22d] in the home with only the immediate relatives of the bride and groom present, the Rev. Theophil Schildknecht, New Holstein, officiating. After a wedding supper Mr. and Mrs. Rosenheimer left on a western wedding trip. They will live in Houston, Tex., where Mr. Rosenheimer is engaged in the automobile business. Mr. Rosenheimer was graduated from University of Wisconsin in 1906. The bride is a graduate of the West Division High School and until recently was private secretary to Col. W. J. Boyle of the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul road.

Wolski-Majkowska

WEDS GIRL WHOM HE TRIED TO KILL
Milwaukee, Wis., July 4 - Lucian Wolski, 18 years of age, took out a license to marry Jadwiga Majkowska, 17 years of age, whom he shot and wounded about two and a half months ago. Accompanying them was Martha Wolski, a sister of Lucian, who sized his arm when he tried to shoot himself after wounding his sweetheart. The wedding will take place on July 8. At 2 o'clock on the morning of April 10, Wolski shot the girl in the face at her home, 17 Clarke street. he was arrested and was released on bail. His sweetheart was confined in a hospital for a time, but has not completely recovered.
