MR. AND MRS. C. PRATT CELEBRATING GOLDEN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
Parents of Mrs. R. O. Gibbson, Former Wisconsin Residents, Married 50 Years.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Pratt of 525 Chestnut street are today quietly celebrating their golden wedding anniversary at the home of their daughter, Mrs. R. O. Gibbons, at 1222 Jersey street. On November 14, 1867 Charles C. Pratt and Frances Bullis were married in Edgerton, Wis. They are now 76 years old and still in excellent health.
They always have made their home in Wisconsin but three weeks ago they moved to Quincy so as to be near their daughter, Mrs. Gibbons. Both are members of the M. E. church and Mr. Pratt is a veteran of the civil war having bravely served his country in those critical years in the 13th Wisconsin Volunteer infantry.
Besides Mrs. Gibbons they have another daughter, Mrs. M. Ibach of Detroit, Mich., and also two grandchildren, Robert and Ralph Gibbons. While their residence in Quincy has been short, they already have made many friends, who today are congratulating them on their anniversary.
