FORMER MENASHA GIRL IS MARRIED
Menasha - Miss Buddie Dudley has Eikenberry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Eikenberry of Peru, Ind. which took place Saturday afternoon in the Wellington Congregational church at Chicago, the service being read by the Rev. Thomas Anderson in the presence of immediate relatives. Mr. Eikenberry is a graduate of the University of Illinois and is a member of Delta Sigma Lambda fraternity and is entering Harvard University at Boston, Mass. where the couple will live. Mrs. Eikenberry was a former Menasha resident and a graduate of the Menasha high school and will be remembered by a host of friends. Reeves - Judd Duluth News-Tribune, October 02, 1914 - Sub. by K.T.
Richard S. Reeves and Margaret M. Judd, Rush, Wis. Riske - March Oshkosh Daily Northwestern (Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wis.) Monday, Sept. 29, 1958; transcribed by Marla Zwakman Given in marriage by her father, Miss Nancy Ann March entered Trinity Lutheran Church Saturday afternoon to join here bridegroom, Everett A. Riske at the altar. Performing the wedding ceremony was the Rev. K. R. Going, Miss Isabel Fisfeld accompanied Fred Leist Jr., as he sang, "The Lord's Prayer" and "Today Oh Lord, We at Thy Altar Stand." The church was decorated with fan-shaped arrangements of white gladioli and white chrysanthemums. Carrying a bridal bouquet of stephanotis encircling a white orchid and framed with satin hoops, the bride entered the church at 4 p.m. Her gown was of whispering "I Do" taffeta, designed with a molded torso bodice and Sabrina style neckline of lace and beaded applique trim. Her long sleeves tapered to points over her hands. The flowing taffeta skirt was of lace and appliqued iridescents. A bustle train completed her floor-length ensemble. She wore a turban hat which held a fingertip veil of silk illusion. The bride's sister, Sue March, Oshkosh, was maid of honor. Miss Marlene Youngwirth and Miss Barbara Jungwirth were bridesmaids. Attendants chose taffeta frocks designed along sheath lines with boat necklines, and matching detachable harem skirts. They wore taffeta bow clip hats with petite veils and carried baskets of bronze pompons with sprays of bittersweet and wheat. The bridegroom's sister, Janice Riske, Waupaca, was junior bridesmaid. She wore a taffeta princess style dress with a waltz-length skirt, sweetheart neckline and cap sleeves. She also wore a bow-clip hat. Elmer Riske, Waupaca, was his brother's best man for the double ring ceremony. Louis T. Schroeder, Chicago, and Albert Reprogle, Waupaca, were groomsmen. Wedding guests arriving from Redwood City and Los Angeles, Calif., and Waupaca, Milwaukee, Fond du Lac, Manawa, Rhinelander, Green Bay and Madison were seated by ushers, Thomas Lorge and Steven Lorge, both of Oshkosh, and Gerald Riske, another brother of the bridegroom, Waupaca. Mrs. March wore a lime-peel velveteen blouson sheath dress for the reception at the American Legion Clubhouse. Mrs. Riske chose a beige lace sheath dress with matching accessories. They complemented their dresses with brown cymbidium orchid corsages. After a honeymoon trip to Northern Wisconsin and Canada, Mr. and Mrs. Riske will reside at 47 E. 11th St., Fond du Lac. For traveling, Mrs. Riske changed to a sapphire blue knit suit with black accessories. Mrs. Riske graduated from Oshkosh High School and was formerly employed by First National Bank. Her husband graduated from Waupaca High School, and is employed by Rueping Leather Company, Fond du Lac.
