The October term of circuit court for this county will convene on Monday, October 4, in this city. There are a large number of cases already cited to be heard and it is expected that many more will be added to the calendar by the time court opens.

There are twenty-eight aliens who will become citizens of the United States during this term. Of this number there are eleven Germans, three Hollanders, three Norwegians, six Austrians, one Swede, one Canadian and one Irishman.
