Obituary Text: "Kevicki Service Held Here Monday. Mrs. Gertrude Mildred Kevicki, 43-year old wife of Andrew J. Kevicki of Ripley died enroute to Charleston hospital late Saturday morning of a heart attack. She suffered the attack at her home here and Dr. E. D. Staats was summoned. He called the Parsons ambulance. Immediately after he found her condition to be critical and went along to administer oxygen, however death came before she reached the hospital. She was born at Pierre, South Dakota on June 15, 1915, a daughter of Henry J. and Peterke Smith Brummer. She came here with her husband more than a year ago. He is connected with the Kaiser Corporation. The funeral service was held on Monday at the Parsons funeral home with Rev. Homer Hicks of the E.U.B. church officiating and the body was taken to Portsmouth, Ohio for cremation. Surviving are the husband, Andrew J. Kevicki, a son, Jess Lewis Kevicki of Iowa, and a daughter, Anrdrea Joan at home."
