BAKER’S CEMETERY #4: 2 1/3rd miles E. of Mannington on Buffalo Creek Road; thence 1 ½ miles N. on Price Run on
H. E. Baker farm (now owned by Masters). Established 1901, or earlier, as a private burial ground; extent, 90 x
100 feet; no restrictions as to the type and placing of markers; fenced; not landscaped; condition, fair. Lots
not marked; graves marked by monuments; Lots not for sale; no burial records kept; still in use as a burial ground.
Earliest stone dated 1901. Marked graves, 6; unmarked graves, 14. December 1939.
This cemetery is located at the head of Price Run, Mannington District. A Mine conveyor runs across the hill from
the cemetery.
Cemetery was read on August 23, 1991 by Adam Michna and published in "Genealogy Gleanings"
