JOHN GILL of Mercer Co., State of Virginia, Kentucky District, will 26 Sept. 1788 - 16. Oct. 1788.
To wife Margaret, plantation on which "my family now resides at head of Quirk's Run." To children, unnamed, share and share alike. Ex'rs: Brother William Gill, John and Thomas Pitman in Kentucky; William Bishop, Richard Ellis, and Robert Lithgow in South Carolina. Wit: Wm. McGowen, Wm. Sanders. Probated Mercer Co., Va., 22 June 1790. Recorded in Richland Co., S. C.
