Edray, Pocahontas county, has an epidemic of diphtheria on had.
Last Wednesday evening, MR. Peter Hill, of Hill's Creek, Pocahontas county, brought to the Greenbrier Independent Office the head of a ground hog, the teeth of which were wonderful. The front teeth-two upper and two lower-were more then two inches in length and had grown into a perfect circle. One of the upper teeth was over three inches in length, had grown forward, turned backward and upward, penetrated the roof of the animal's mouth, and protruded through one of its nostrils.
