Notaries Public.— The Governor yesterday appointed the following notaries public:
H. R. Shumate, for the county of Wyoming,residence Oceana; C. J. Jarvis for Harrison county, residence Wolf's Summit;
J. W. C. Armstrong for Mason County, residence

Messrs. Anderson and Farley had Good Meetings.
John M. Anderson and A. P. Farley have returned from Wyoming county, where they addressed the people at Oceana
and at Baileysville in the interest of Mr. Lilly's candidacy for congress. At Oceana, where the new high school
building had just been dedicated, an enthusiastic crowd filled the building and voiced in no uncertain terms their
Approval of the candidacy of Mr. Lilly. At Baileysville in the evening, another large and interested audience greeted
the speakers, convincing them that the claim of a
preponderating Hughes sentiment in that section is at least subject to revision.
